Can I get a first date?
Every post is a first date.
Your goal?
A second date (aka engagement).
Here's how to get a second date so you eventually wind up proposing (aka asking for a sale):
1. That first impression
It's cliche, but it's cliche for a reason...
Spend 80% of the time on getting the first line right.
2. Stop being boring.
Bring value to the conversation.
No one likes the date that won't shut up about his stamp collection.
3. Show it off
Don't just say you're an expert. Prove it.
4. Don't drag it out
End with a question or a teaser and bounce while they're still enjoying themselves.
5. Don't be a try hard
Authenticity beats perfection.
Side note...
My first date with my wife was in high school. I was 17, she was 16 and we did a double date to a Kansas City Royals game with Ryan and Haley.
Now we've got 3 little kids. Life is crazy.
Any wild first date stories?
