Is this any good?

I was responding to a LinkedIn comment today and came up with this analogy.

Might go more in depth later, but testing the waters for now.

I had posted, “Good social media can't fix a bad brand/product/business.”

Someone commented, “Totally true but can a good social media presence actually help build a stronger brand?”

My gut reaction was, well duh. If the answer is no, I’m made horrible decision in choosing my profession.

Social media is a tool.

Do you need a hammer to build a house? Yep. But is it ALL you need? Of course not.

Would love your thoughts.

If I was going to keep this analogy going, what are the other tools that you need related to digital marketing?

Looking for a new gig or looking to hire your dream candidate?

p.s. If you’re a seasoned social media pro looking for a community/mastermind type environment…

“Social Studies gives me the opportunity to connect with, learn from, and grow with other leaders in social media in a space that allows for honesty and vulnerability. This openness and sense of community is something I haven't found on any other platform.”

“Social Studies has connected me to a bunch of super creative and ambitious folks in the field! The conversations, virtual events, and connections are definitely worth jumping into the community.”

“Social Studies has been a great place to share thoughts, brainstorm new ideas, and learn from both industry leaders and peers. It's a community that I truly value and am honored to be a part of.”
